What has the Trust achieved already?

• Building and equipping the Haematology and Oncology Department in 1982.
  
• Employing medical, nursing and other staff.
  
• Extension to the Haematology and Oncology Department in 1986 and again 1994.
• Providing short-term financial assistance to patients.
• Sponsoring further education of staff and supporting research into leukaemia and other blood disorders.
• Providing specialised equipment useful in the support of patients, including many items recommended by the Occupational Therapy Department.
